A superb book. In "The Pro's Pro," veteran journalist Tripp Baltz gives us a lighthearted, yet very human portrait of a remarkable man. Reminiscent of "Harvey Penick's Little Red Book," Baltz expertly weaves a narrative of Smith's life and teaching, while conveying the warmth and humor of this "old school" pro who touched so many lives and helped so many young golfers get their "start" in the PGA. Meticulously researched and engagingly written! Hopefully we'll have more from Mr. Baltz.

I recently read "The Pro's Pro" written by Tripp Baltz and thoroughly enjoyed the book. Warren Smith led a great golf life and his stories provide great lessons in golf and life. As an avid golfer I enjoyed the golf tips as well as the relatable life stories. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys golf and wants a look into the life of an extraordinary golf professional.
